#CharakaJayanti was celebrated today by offering holistic reverences to #AcharyaCharaka in the Gurukula ashrama followed by guest lecture in the auditorium hall. The formal program was presided over by Dr. I. B. Kotturshetti, Principal and CMO RGESAMC Ron. Resource person and Chief guest Dr. Annapurna Paraddi, Associate Professor Department of Samhita and Siddhanta GAMCH Teradal delivered the guest lecture on CLINICAL APPLICATIONS OF CHARAKA SAMHITA IN CURRENT ERA. Honorary guest and alumnus Dr. Venkatesh Pujari in his address recalled his student journey and urged students to make better usage of college life. In his presidential address Dr. I. B. Kotturshetti explained the importance of Charakacharya in framing the principles of Ayurveda and it’s relevance in current health sector. Dr. H. I. Tatti, Professor and Head Department of Samhita and Siddhanta RGESAMC accompanied other dignitaries on the stage. During the program guests were felicitated by the dignitaries. Staff members and students participated in the celebration.
