On the account of #WorldEnvironmentDay2025 an awareness program was organised at Matoshree Basamma tayi herbal garden. The president of the event Dr. S. B. Bani, Professor and Head, PG department of Dravyaguna in her address explained the need for preserving the integrity of ecosystem. She urged students to avoid plastic and other components which are harmful for balance of environment. Chief guest Dr. H. I. Tatti Professor and Head, Department of Siddhant & Samhita, Honorary guests Dr. J. I. Hiremath, Professor, PG Department of Panchakarma, Dr. M. P. Itagi, Professor, Department of Agada tantra, Dr. D. H. Kuri Professor, Department of Roganidana were among the dignitaries for the program. The winners of the photography competition which was held as a symbolic mark for world environment day were honoured during the program. Following the formal function sapling plantation was done by the dignitaries in the garden. Students and staff members were present during the event.
