Inauguration of #CHAITANYA annual sports meet was held today in the college ground. The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Dr. I. B Kotturshetti, Principal and CMO RGESAMC Ron who motivated the students to participate in maximum number of sports activities. Honorary guest Shri. Basavaraj Hosalli, Physical Director, Taluk stadium Ron, in his speech explained about the importance of sports in maintaining overall health. Chief guest Shri. Praveenkumar Ghanti, Karate Gold medalist and Honorary guests Shri. U. Y. Somagond, Professor, Department of Sociology and Shri. Anand Jogin, Physical Director of Veerarani chennamma PU college, Ron l, Smt. Uma Patil, Physical Director, Veera Rani chenamma Highschool were felicitated during the event. Other dignitaries on the stage included Dr. Harshavardhan. Byalihal, Professor and Head, Department of Shareera rachana. Following the formal proceedings a symbolic inaguration of #CHAITANYA was done with dove release. Staff members and students witnessed the event.
