Inaugural ceremony of #Manjari and #Chaitanya annual cultural and sports meet, was held today in the auditorium hall. The program was presided over by Dr.I. B. Kotturshetti, Principal RGESAMC who in his presidential address urged students to participate and embrace the joy of cultural and sports activities. Chief guest Shri. Shankrappa Sankannavar, Director, Arunodaya Art company in his address spoke about the traditional arts which are in the verge of extinct. He explained any regional specific dance symbolises the cultural practices in that respective area which needs to be nurtured. Honorary guests Dr. Pushpa Tuppad, Associate Professor, Department of Kayachikitsa and Dr. Poornima. P. R , Assistant professor, Department of Panchakarma were among the other dignitaries on the stage. Following the inauguration a traditional act was performed by Shri. Shankrappa and team. Staff and students cherished the different events that followed inaugural function.
